Individual Work
The book is a collective work of the one-year-effort for the degree thesis. It is composed of two parts: a thesis paper, and a design studio.
The inspiring moment started with a random day when I was standing at Shibuya crossing and mesmerizing for its dynamism and diversity. The aim of this thesis is to carry these questions and leanr human activities as a phenomenon under certain contexts bu taking ‘crossing’ as the model, and then elaborating the model at different scales. The thesis studio, is an expansion of this topic, exploring the ‘corssing’ in multiple displine inclusing daily elements, spatial quality, and representation.
