This twenty-year comprehensive plan is drafted based on a hypothetical city, Lost Valley, which is located in Central Valley, California. As the group members' role as professional planning consultants, The task is to accommodate the doubled population growth projected within the next two decades and facilitate sustainable city development at the same time.
Bringing two capital projects, Lost Valley 2040(the plan) provides current status analysis and development guidelines, including land carrying capacity evaluation, land suitability analysis, infrastructures and facilities planning, special district urban design, as well as implementation instructions.
